À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Teachers’ Association president Jason Schilling has issued the following statement with regard to the Teachers’ Employer Bargaining Association issuing lockout notice for teachers, commencing Thursday, October 9, 2025:
“The government’s lockout was expected, as it’s a response to teachers going on strike. À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ’ Association and government officials remain in talks.â€
À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ’ Association, as the professional organization of teachers, promotes and advances public education, supports teachers’ professional practice, and serves as the advocate for its 51,000 members.
